In 1994, born entrepreneur and visionary Julian Reusing launched his first business, in collaboration with his mother and brothers. To this day, it continues to flourish, leading the charge within the electronic equipment industry across 67 countries and counting. More than 20 years after the business was founded, a portion of it was purchased by an American company, prompting Reusing to take on a new entrepreneurial challenge.

In 2013, he dove headfirst into new territory, purchasing a local business in Sherbrooke, QC; “Les Pieux Goliath”. As he embarked on this journey, he had only one goal in mind: become a world leader in the field. Shortly after, “Les Pieux Goliath” became GoliathTech and Reusing started to invest in research and engineering, developing a new breed of helical pile—one that responded perfectly to the needs of the consumers and entrepreneurs interviewed through the research phase. Not only does this technology meet and surpass the quality of its competition, but it also fully conforms with building standards across jurisdictions.

As a result of investments in research and development, GoliathTech was able to engineer a product that has completely revolutionized the standards for helical piles with respect to:

A BOOMING BUSINESS, WITHIN JUST A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME

This business has been running for 15 years, but in just the last seven years, GoliathTech has joined the top five enterprises in the world for helical piles. With around 200 franchise units with locations in all ten Canadian provinces, 33 states and now across Europe, GoliathTech just keeps on growing. Each year they see growth of 25 per cent, with new franchises opening on a monthly basis.

The helical piles are manufactured in Magog, QC in a 90 000 square foot facility, which is set to expand within the next year to meet growing demand.
